On May 21, 2015, The REACH Foundation celebrated Red Nose Day in Hartford. REACH advocates for children in need and on Red Nose Day, we wanted to continue to build awareness in the effort to eliminate children living in poverty.
The REACH Foundation provided free pancakes to the public outside the Wilson-Gray YMCA Youth and Family Center on Albany Ave. in Hartford. For lunch, free hot dogs were served at State House Square in Hartford. The Wilson-Gray YMCA was chosen due to the positive impact in the lives of local children in Hartford. State House Square was the location so REACH's message of awareness could be conveyed to corporate Connecticut and the downtown workforce.
